The iROS F warning device is designed to warn drivers of a potentially unsafe working angle or cornering force on
equipment while the equipment is in use. It does this by actuating both visual and audible warnings at present
warning threshold levels.
iROS F, like its sister products, has a programmable microprocessor, therefore enabling it to be reprogrammed for
different applications.
iROS F carries out a full diagnostic self-test upon power up (a PTO engage or POST). This self test ensures that the
microprocessor and the angle sensing accelerometer are in good working order before the tipper commences raising.
iROS F has four (4) seperately programmable switch points, or angles, for a three stage system: first and second
warnings, followed by a shutdown.
The iROS F connects to a dash mounted warning light, signalling to the driver when the iROS F self tests, and that
the iROS F is functioning correctly. This light also signals the first stage warning: that caution should be taken,
as the body has a lean and is not level. Any fault including faulty or loose wiring will be obvious from the fault
lamp's status.
If the iROS F reaches the second stage warning threshold, a buzzer sounds to tell the driver to stop or slow down. Should
the driver fail to do either, the iROS F will reach the third stage threshold, and will shut down the vehicle.
